How to run an event?
An exhibition? A conference? Or perhaps just a staff party for the whole company? No matter what you are trying to organise, you want it to be successful.
If you are responsible for such actions in your company you know how important such meetings are. Obviously different events have various purposes, but this is an excellent opportunity to make all of them special for your clients and employees. How to do that? Here is a short method.
First
You have to know what kind of audience you will be targeting and what are their expectations.
There will be lots of differences between an event targeted at the public and a company conference. Be prepared.
Consider all aspects including the number of people taking part in it.
It might be just an estimated result when you organise something for the public as you never know how many people would arrive.
Therefore, you'd rather be double-ready. Then determine the subject and the main theme of the meeting.
That might help choosing the right promotional actions and select the right promotional products.

Second
Prepare all necessary items that you will need running it.
Flipcharts, slide projectors, writing sets and pens. Make sure you have more, as not every participant might be just as well prepared as you need to be.
This is always a great chance to promote the business and you must already know that.
Obviously, there will be various items that you have to use when dealing with your colleagues and people who came to your event. What are they?

Third
Use any opportunity to advertise your business among the public and any occasion to let your staff know how important they are for you.
GoPrintedItems specialises in promotional products and as the sector leader in the UK we are always happy to advise and provide you with the most accurate items you need at the time.
Customise all giveaways with what you find relevant, but remember to make it correspond with your brand, mission, vision or company's standards.
Free marketing items are always a good idea as people love all those pens, paper clips, folders or desk organisers.
When you go for a conference make them something special, like a multifunctional folder with the writing set and a ballpen included.
When it is an event for potential customers, or even voters, make this products be associable with the theme of the meeting, place or even time of year.

One more piece of advice
Regarding outdoor events. Not everybody brings their own bags or backpacks to such meetings.
The best thing to do is to provide the public with small items they can carry in their handbags or even pockets.
Pens and keyrings seem to be the best here.
However, it doesn't mean you should limit yourself to such products only.
If you want to prepare a lot of gifts or even organise a competition with prizes, think of so called goodie bags (naturally with your logo printed on the most visible surface) and stuff it with all products that will remind the person about your brand regardless what they do and where they are.
